The average processing time for first-time applications is 45 days; for subsequent applications – 20 days.

Who oversees the FCVS?

The FCVS service is offered by the Federation of State Medical Boards. It is accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

How do I apply for my FCVS?

To apply for a FCVS, you will need to submit the following forms:

  1. FCVS Authorization for Release form;
  2. Affidavit & Release form;
  3. Certification of Identification form with a photocopy of birth certificate or valid passport;
  4. NBME Exam History Release form.
